XchangeWorld is an international holiday exchange network featuring direct partnerships with meticulously selected quality clubs and resorts – exclusively for QVI Club members.  XchangeWorld upgrade is automatic with QVI Club membership purchase and covers the whole duration of your 30 years membership.

XchangeWorld provides a selection of guaranteed check-in weeks/units at your preferred locations/destinations for you to choose from on a frequent basis.  XchangeWorld offers check-in date choices across all seasonality. There are equal weeks/units on offer that spread out from peak to low seasons and not just during low seasons.

 

 


How to make your exchange in 3 Easy Steps

 

Option A: Deposit First

  1. Deposit your week
    Pay your usage fee and get your week deposited with XchangeWorld.  Depositing is free, and you do not have to know where or when you want to travel. Your deposited week will be valid for travel within two years from the time your usage fee is settled.
  2. Request your holiday
    Once you have deposited your week, it is time to start planning for your Exchange Holiday.  The sooner you make your request, the more opportunities we have to find a great match. You can either email or call us for your desired travel destination and date. XchangeWorld Customer Care will get back to you with the availability shortly.
  3. Confirm your holiday
    Our XchangeWorld Customer Care may be able to confirm your resort choice as soon as you request it. If the holiday you want is not available, XchangeWorld Customer Care will put you on a waitlist, or offer you alternatives for consideration.

Option B: Search First

  1. Search for availability
    First check availability with XchangeWorld, and choose your preferred availability.
  2. Pay usage fee and deposit a week
    Once you choose your preferred availability, pay your usage fee to get your week deposited into XchangeWorld.
  3. Confirm your holiday
    Upon the settlement of your usage fee and Xchange fee, our XchangeWorld Customer Care may be able to confirm your preferred availability accordingly.

Tips for easy holiday planning

Request early. Avoid last minute requests. The sooner you request an Exchange, the more opportunities we have to make a great match.

Be flexible with your dates, location and unit size. As a rule of thumb, your Xchange request will be fulfilled more quickly when you let us know which areas you are interested in, as well as your travel dates.

  1. How can I become a member of "XchangeWorld"?

You will automatically become a member of "XchangeWorld" upon completion of the registration of your QVI Club Membership (Diamond, Platinum and Gold currently).

  1. What are the benefits of "XchangeWorld"? What do "XchangeWorld" offers?

- "XchangeWorld" provides a selection of guaranteed check-in weeks/units at your preferred locations/destinations for you to choose from on a frequent basis. 

- "XchangeWorld" offers check-in date choices across all seasonality. There will be equal weeks/units on offer that spread out from peak to low seasons and not just during low seasons.

  1. Will there be a renewal fee imposed to renew the membership with "XchangeWorld"?

There will not be any renewal fee charged.

  1. Will there be an Xchange fee? How much is the Xchange fee?

Yes, there will be a nominal Xchange fee. The Xchange fee is a flat rate of USD99 per week of 8days/7nights throughout the world, which translates to great value for money! This is payable upon confirmation of your Xchange request.

  1. How can I check the associated resorts/ hotels to "XchangeWorld"?

You can find the list of associated resorts/hotels at the Search Resort page.

  1. Do I still need to pay usage fees?

Yes, there will be a reasonable usage fee of USD150 for depositing your QVI Club week entitlement into "XchangeWorld" for your xchange purpose.

  1. Will meals be provided?

Meals are not included.

  1. How can I deposit my week into "XchangeWorld"?

Upon settlement of your usage fee, you will be able to deposit your week into "XchangeWorld".

11.  How much is the Guest Certificate fee?

The Guest Certificate fee is available at USD39. This is applicable only if you are not part of the travelling party staying at the destination resort/hotel.

For full week booking - the Guest Certificate fee is per unit/per week.
For split week booking - the Guest Certificate fee is per unit/per period of stay.

12.  Can I pay my Usage fee, Guest Certificate or Xchange fee through my E-Card?

Yes, you can make the payment either by:

a. E-Card by providing us with your E-Card details (Serial and Pin Code)

b. Credit Card by downloading and completing the Credit Card form and faxing it to us at +65 6491 0899. Meantime, a secured online payment option is coming soon.

13.  What are "XchangeWorld" office hours?

14.  How do I make full use of "XchangeWorld" holidays?

- Be flexible with your requests.

- Instead of choosing a specific resort, tell us what kind of holidays or areas (at least 3 choices) you want (beach, mountain, cultural etc). Keep an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised by wonderful experiences in a previously unexplored destination. Why keep going back to the same popular overcrowded places? There is a whole wide world to explore.

15.  What is the Cancellation Protection Option (CPO) @ USD19.00?

By purchasing the CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, your deposited week will be saved up to the expiry date of usage week entitlement, should you need to cancel your exchange holiday. There will be no fee for the replacement exchange. You have the option of accepting the CPO and paying the additional CPO fee on the replacement exchange reservation.

- CPO must be purchased upon xchange confirmation only
- CPO is not available on Bonus Weeks or any other “special” or “promotional offers”
- CPO is not applicable on Guest Certificates

If you decline the CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, the cancellation policy applies.

16.  What is your Cancellation Policy?

60 days and above prior to check-in date:
-USD39 will be deducted from Xchange fee
-Week will be saved for future use up to the expiry date of usage week entitlement

59 days to 30 days prior to check-in date:
-USD49 will be deducted from Xchange fee
-Week will be saved for future use up to the expiry date of usage week entitlement

29 days till the date of check-in
-Xchange fee forfeited
-Week deposited forfeited

*Terms and Conditions

  1. Guest Certificate will be forfeited once cancelled.
  2. Balance from deducted Xchange fee will be credited on the next Xchange request.
  3. You may then request another xchange for which payment of an additional xchange fee may be required
  4. These policies are subject to change from time to time without prior notice to the members.

17.  What is XchangeWorld Xtra?

XchangeWorld Xtra is essentially an extra incentive week that is offered to all fully paid QVI Club members to purchase an extra week of vacation stay from a special selection of our XchangeWorld associated resorts at a drastically discounted price.  

What’s more you can even gift XchangeWorld XTRA to your family, friends and loved ones by simply obtaining a Guest Certificate.

18.  Who is eligible to purchase the XchangeWorld Xtra offer?

All our fully paid QVI Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze members are eligible to enjoy the offered vacation week over and above their yearly membership entitlement.

19.  Do I need to pay xchange fee or usage fee to use XchangeWorld Xtra?

No additional xchange fee and usage fee required. Reservation is based on first come first serve basis only.  However, there will be no refund of booking cancellation.
